A brief history of APA Swiss
The Association was formed in October 2013, registered in 2014, and inaugurated on 19 September 2015.
In 2013, a few indigenes of Anambra State, Nigeria, residing in Switzerland founded the Anambra People’s Association Switzerland (APA Swiss). This non-governmental, non-profit association was created to foster unity among members and to give back to society by helping those at the margins of the community.
The association focuses on helping the less privileged, particularly in Anambra State. It organises charitable initiatives to alleviate poverty, improve education, and provide healthcare support to underserved communities and individuals.
These efforts reflect APA Swiss’s commitment to uplifting lives and promoting solidarity. Deeply committed to service to humanity, it believes in making a positive impact beyond borders — supporting initiatives that promote social welfare, peace, and empowerment for those in need.
